The development team at Infinity Ward and publisher Activision are ready to offer more detailed information on the multiplayer that will be part of Call of Duty: Ghosts, including the names of two of the modes that gamers can choose from.

Cranked is a new take on familiar team deathmatch mechanics, in which kills will make a player quicker and more agile but also set him on a timer to his next successful attack, which, if missed, will lead to spontaneous combustion.

Search & Rescue is a more serious mode that focuses on dog tags that all gamers drop when they die.

If a friendly character picks them up, the gamer respawns, but if the enemy gets to them first, then the death is permanent for that round.

More information on the multiplayer options for Call of Duty: Ghosts are included in the extended video attached to this article.

The game is set to launch on November 5 on the PC, current-gen consoles and the Wii U from Nintendo.
