14 DAY TRIAL // Infinity Ward has confirmed that, between December 13 and December 16, Call of Duty: Ghosts owners will earn double XP in the cooperative Extinction mode.
Call of Duty: Ghosts delivered a good single-player experience and a pretty complex multiplayer mode that featured not only a competitive side but also a cooperative one through the special Extinction mode.
After hosting Double XP weekends for the game's multiplayer overall, between December 13 and December 16, Infinity Ward is hosting a double XP event for just the Extinction cooperative mode.
What's more, later today, December 13, special activities will be held in honor of Extinction Day 2013.
Call of Duty: Ghosts owners on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS4 and Xbox One will be able to take part in the new double XP period while playing in Extinction mode, according to the studio's Twitter account.
