Call of Duty: Ghosts, the first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision Blizzard, is keeping the number one position in the United Kingdom video game chart for the second week in a row.

The title continues to be very popular among multiplayer fans, and gamers will probably soon make it the bestselling title of the year.

Second place has gone to a new entry, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, which uses the impressive cast of the comic book company to create an open world adventure filled with both humor and impressive set-pieces.

Despite the fact that Marvel is currently owned by Disney, the game was developed at TT Games and is published by Warner Bros., which in a weird twist currently control the rival DC Comics universe.

FIFA 14, the football simulation from EA Sports, has managed to gain one position over the previous week, according to data coming from UKIE, to reach the final position on the podium, and might climb more as current releases are no longer attractive for players.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is in fourth place this week, down one place, and Battlefield 4 has seen the biggest slide of the tracked period and has arrived in fifth coming second.

Grand Theft Auto V, the open world title from Rockstar and Take Two, lies in sixth for the moment, continuing its long-term decline after the very powerful first week performance.

The Xbox 360 edition of the indie hit Minecraft is in seventh and followed by the new Swap Force expansion for Skylanders, which allows gamers to mix and match pieces of their toys.

In ninth place Batman: Arkham Origins, from Warner Bros., continues to hunt assassins but fails to impress the community of fans, and Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy on the 3DS makes a comeback from obscurity to close down the UK top ten.
