Call of Duty: Finest Hour is a video game developed by Spark Unlimited and published by Activision Publishing. The game was created for the PlayStation 2 console from Sony, the Game Cube and the Xbox from Microsoft. It is classed as a war shooter played from a third person perspective with sequences played in first person view. There is a strong historical aspect evident in the game, with several real world battles simulated.

The Call of Duty series was initially released on the PC and the way it managed to capture the feel of war while delivering competent first person shooter gameplay impressed critics and gamers. The series was a success and console versions were quickly planned. Call of Duty: Finest Hour is the first of the Call of Duty games that was released on gaming consoles.

There are three different fronts of the World War II that are simulated in the game and the story is told from the point of view of three different soldiers, a British, an American and a Russian. You have to play through each section of the game in succession, as a new mission is unlocked only once you complete the one before it. The game is heavily scripted, with some of the larger operations depicted in minute details and with the player often being relegated to a minor role on the battlefield as the great clash happens all around him. The production values of the title are very high, with great music and brilliant voice acting.

Depot Saboteurs: Secret room

On the second British level, Depot Saboteurs, in the area where you blow up all the fuel drums is a large brown church-looking building. Go up to the right-hand side door and throw two sticking grenades at it. Then, go up to it and press Action. Move back and throw one more grenade at the door to blow it up. Follow the stairs down to a room with a Bren, field pack, and some grenades.

Depot Saboteurs: Sniping location

Clear the gate to the fuel depot. If you are looking straight at the gate from the inside, look to your left. You should see a bush. Go into the bush and you should go up onto a ledge. From this ledge you should be able to jump onto the roof of a house. This is a good location to take out some Nazis, and the machine gun nest.
