After yesterday's sudden report that Call of Duty: Black Ops suffers from intense lag on even the most powerful PC setups, it seems that the PlayStation 3 versions of the game are also suffering from an array of bugs and glitches, as reported by members of the Treyarch forum.

Call of Duty: Black Ops has been one of the most anticipated titles of the year, promising to continue in the highly successful footsteps of last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

After its release at the beginning of the week, gamers were shocked to see that the game they eagerly awaited was pretty broken, not only the PC, as highlighted by the dozens of comments we received at yesterday's story, but also on the PlayStation 3, as seen on multiple topics in Treyarch's forum.

According to forum members, the PlayStation 3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops has multiple issues involving framerate, freezes, crashes, and other options that don't work as they should.

Here's the full list seen on the forum topics:

Reported Bugs

- Party Invite System not working, unable to join friends even with public chosen - Leaderboard not reading correct kills - Framerate issues, affecting gameplay - Theatre mode not working correctly - Respawns, issue spawning near enemies on smaller maps - Game freezing PS3 Console - Party option "Leave with party" not working correctly - Locale Search option not working - Mic's not showing in lobby - Error "Disconnected due to transmission Error" appears after some games

Reported Glitches

- Knifing mechanic seems to act like Commando lunge from MW2

According to other reports on the web, PlayStation 3 owners who are trying to experience the game on 3DTVs are also experiencing freezes while trying to play with its 3D mode enabled.
