More details about the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 have just appeared online, courtesy of its Development Director, who confirms that a field-of-view slider is going to be present in the game, as well as dedicated servers for ranked multiplayer and maybe even an uncapped framerate, at least for the story and Zombies modes.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was revealed to the world a couple of days ago, with developer Treyarch and publisher Activision sharing a gameplay video as well as quite a few general details about the upcoming first-person shooter and how it innovates on top of previous entries like Advanced Warfare or Ghosts.

Already the game's PC version has been dubbed the best by its developer, as the team is trying to push each platform to its limits, particularly on the PC, where much more powerful hardware can run more features and visual options.

Now, its Development Director confirms on Twitter a few more features that are going to be a part of Black Ops 3 on PC.

First up, just like Black Ops 2, the new game will have an adjustable Field of View slider in the graphics options so that players can easily tweak the FoV instead of using third-party tools or mods and then risk getting banned.

The multiplayer mode will have dedicated servers, at least when it comes to the ranked matches, but things aren't set in stone just yet. What's more, it's likely that the framerate will not be limited in some modes. The dev confirms that Black Ops 2 had an FPS cap in the multiplayer mode, while leaving it uncapped in the single-player and Zombies modes, and that Black Ops 3 might follow the same strategy.

Bear in mind that things are still murky right now, as quite a few months separate fans from the debut of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 6.
