A pretty major leak has just taken place on the web with most details about the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 first-person shooter spilling online, going in-depth with the story campaign, that's playable in co-op, not to mention the Zombies or the competitive multiplayer modes.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was rumored for some time now but earlier this month developer Treyarch and publisher Activision confirmed that the shooter is real and that it's going to get a full reveal on April 26, after the NBA playoffs.

Unfortunately for the two companies, yesterday saw a pretty big leak appear with the game's release date, November 6, and the fact that those who pre-order Black Ops 3 will be invited into a beta period on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

New details leak about he story, Zombies, and multiplayer modes

Now, more details have leaked online, via Reddit, confirming quite a lot of other big things about the game's different aspects.

First up, the story campaign is no longer single-player, as up to four players can embark on its adventures using the online mode. The game's story is also centered around "epic cinematic moments" that deliver open-area arena-style gameplay sequences, which can be played out in different ways, encouraging replayability.

The narrative campaign also allows for complete character customization, from weapons to loadouts, abilities, or outfits.

Competitive multiplayer and Zombies modes boast big improvements

The competitive multiplayer mode boasts a new movement system, according to the leaked scans, that allows players to move fluidly through the environment using thrust jumps, slides, and mantling abilities. Maps are designed to take advantage of this new mechanic.

There are new specialist characters in the game, giving players another route of experience progression, besides the traditional and weapons one.

The Zombies mode is back with an all-new narrative and a full XP-based progression system to increase the depth and replayability.

While these details are still unconfirmed, they look pretty much official so stay tuned for the confirmation tomorrow, April 26.
