Activision and Treyarch will formally unveil the Zombies cooperative mode for their upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 shooter later today and, in order to make the wait more bearable, they’ve just released two new screenshots showing off members of the undead horde.
Call of Duty games from Treyarch have featured special cooperative multiplayer modes in which up to four players could face off against a horde of zombies.
After seeing the experience debut in World at War and then appear in Black Ops 1, fans are looking forward to its presence in November’s Black Ops 2.
Treyarch has already posted a teaser trailer last week and now, ahead of the mode’s full reveal later today, the studio has released not one but two new screenshots from the cooperative experience.
As you can see above and below, the Zombies are quite aggressive and will no doubt pose a challenge for players.
The full reveal of the mode takes place later today, so be on the lookout for an official announcement.
