After lots of teasing, Treyarch has finally revealed a full-length video of the Zombies mode from its upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 first-person shooter, showing off the different environments from the cooperative experience.

Call of Duty games from Treyarch have featured not just single-player and multiplayer experiences, but also some top notch cooperative ones, thanks to the special Zombies mode, that pits teams of up to four players against the undead horde on a variety of maps.

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Treyarch is implementing quite a few changes and has now posted the first trailer with the impressive experience.

As you can see above, the bus that was featured in a previous teaser video, plays a big role in the Zombies experience, as it takes players around an open world from different arenas where they need to face off against the zombie menace.

According to Joystiq, there are three different modes for the Zombies experience, with the main one being called Tranzit and sees players travel around the open world on a bus. They aren’t safe on it, however, as zombies can even climb aboard and avoiding their deadly attacks will be quite tricky in the confined space.

Players accumulate items and resources by killing the undead and they’ll be able to unlock new parts of the world, so there’s definitely some consistent progression that will keep them coming back.

Those looking for a more traditional Zombies experience can try out the Survival mode, as it’s basically the same one we saw in previous iterations, where players are dropped in closed arenas, based on the open ones from Tranzit, and forced to fight off against the zombies.

Last but not least, there’s a Grief mode, where two players of up to four people need to face off against the undead and try to outlive the other. While they can’t shoot each other, it does add an element of competition.

The Zombies experience will now support stat-tracking, leaderboards, and custom game options, so the cooperative mode is set to offer lots of interesting moments for gamers.

Expect to hear more about Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 as we get closer to its launch on November 13 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Until then, check out the video below.
