Developer Treyarch and publisher Activision announce that they are set to launch the Vengeance downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the PC on August 1.

Gamers who get it will be able to play on four new multiplayer maps called Cove, Detour, Rush and Uplink.

A new zombie-focused adventure called Buried is also part of the package and will include a brand new weapon to take out the undead.

The Vengeance pack will cost 14.99 dollars or Euro for normal players and will be free for all those who have already bought a season pass.

Treyarch is probably planning to deliver one more DLC pack for Black Ops 2 before the autumn launch of the new title in the series, Ghosts.
