After lots and lots of leaks, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's next downloadable map pack has been revealed, in the form of Uprising, which brings four new competitive multiplayer maps and one new zombies experience.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was released in November and developer Treyarch posted in January the first DLC pack for the shooter, in the form of the Revolution add-on.

Now, the next expansion is going to appear later this month, in the form of the Uprising DLC.

The add-on includes, as always, new maps for the multiplayer mode, in the form of Magma, Encore, Vertigo, and Studio, as well as one new experience for the Zombies cooperative mode, called Mob of the Dead.

Check out the full details about the new competitive maps below, via the official website.

MAGMA

Lava carving through a modern Japanese village leaves rivers of fiery damage in its wake, providing players with dangerous terrain, compromised cover, and frenetic firefights for survival.

ENCORE

Set on the grounds following a bustling London music festival, the central stage provides players with a key vantage point overlooking the close-quarters battle of the surrounding amphitheater and main tents.

VERTIGO

High above the clouds atop a mega skyscraper in India, players must battle across a VTOL landing pad and through the transportation terminal, bringing new dimensions of verticality to every battle.

STUDIO

Set on a Hollywood studio backlot, players will take cover in a wide-array of classic movie sets in this reimagined adaptation on the fan-favorite multiplayer map Firing Range.

For the new Mob of the Dead Zombies experience, however, developer Treyarch went all out and hired some great Hollywood actors like Ray Liotta, Chazz Palminteri, Joe Pantoliano, and Michael Madsen to bring to life four mobsters stuck on a zombie-infested version of Alcatraz prison.

Check out the full description of the new mode below.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising`s wildly creative new "Mob of the Dead" Zombies experience finds the four prohibition-era mobsters, Billy Handsome (Liotta), Al "The Weasel" Arlington (Pantoliano), Salvatore "Sal" DeLuca (Palminteri), and Michael "Finn" O`Leary (Madsen) serving time in Alcatraz Prison, only to discover that being behind bars is the least of their problems."

"With plans to break out of Alcatraz foiled by the rise of the undead, the quartet of inmates will have to lean on their mob-derived skills with firearms, blunt instruments and improvised weaponry as they battle the zombies infesting and overrunning the island. In order to survive, players must work their way through the steel cells and aging concrete buildings while fighting off a multitude of zombified prisoners and guards trapped on the island with them."

What's more, if a player is killed, Mob of the Dead introduces a brand new feature called Purgatory, which sends players into the afterlife, where they need to complete all sorts of new objectives.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 receives the Uprising DLC on April 16 on the Xbox 360 platform. Regular players need to pay 1200 MS Points while those who have the Season Pass will get it for free.

Until then, check out a video of the new add-on in action below.
