The new Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 title update that appeared yesterday for the Xbox 360 platform and today on PS3 brought quite a few different changes, but a few tweaks centered around three weapons have sparked a wave of outrage from different players.

Some people started threatening Gameplay Designer David Vonderhaar.

Call of Duty fans have always had a dubious reputation among gamers, but the latest reaction to a new update took things to new extremes.

Many players got quite angry when they learned that the new Xbox 360 patch for Black Ops 2 brings slightly reduced stats for weapons like the AN-94, DSR 50, or Ballista.

This has resulted in all sorts of threats and swear words to be directed at Gameplay Designer David Vonderhaar, who even revealed on Twitter just how slight the tweaks were, as they just added a few fractions of a second to things like rate of fire or reload speeds.

However, Vonderhaar did receive some regular feedback after the patch was released and promised to take things into account for the next update.
