The development team at Treyarch and publisher Activision Blizzard are giving fans of the Call of Duty franchise a chance to explore the creation process for the Surprise live action trailer which accompanied the launch of the new game in the series, Black Ops 2.
The video was directed by acclaimed movie director Guy Ritchie and benefited from an inspired cameo from Robert Downey Jr.
The idea was to show the multiplayer community the many surprising ways in which players can take each other out and emphasize the dynamic nature of the game.
The behind the scenes video does not offer any insight into the Black Ops 2 experience but it does show how much work it takes to create such a smooth trailer.
The new Call of Duty is available on the PC, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
