The development team working on Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 admits that the first-person shooter is experiencing some connectivity issues and is currently working to find the source of the problem and solve it.

Gamers have been reporting problems on various forums, mainly on the PlayStation 3 from Sony, but also on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PC.

An official Twitter message from Activision reads: “We are aware of connectivity issues that some players are facing in Black Ops II on PlayStation 3. We are working on resolution, thank you.”

Connectivity problems are especially problematic for a game like Black Ops 2 because it relies so much on its multiplayer modes to succeed, which means that Treyarch is working extra hard to solve them.

The game is the latest in the biggest franchise for Activision and is expected to shatter yearly sales records in the video game world.
