The development team at Treyarch is posting a number of weird and cryptic letters on its official Facebook page which seem to be teasing the soon to be announced final piece of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The letters contain phrases like: “September 22, 1917: When we began the site excavation, our group could not have predicted the dark path down which our work would lead us.”

The full text is available on the official Facebook page of the team.

Rumors suggest that the final piece of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be launched late in August on the Xbox 360.

The package is set to contain more maps for the multiplayer mode and a new zombie-based adventure.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launched by Activision and Infinity Ward on November 5 of this year.
