Treyarch has confirmed that the ongoing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Double XP weekend that was supposed to end later today, April 15, has been extended one more day until Tuesday, April 16, at 10am PST.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is getting ready to receive its second downloadable add-on tomorrow, April 16, in the form of the Uprising DLC for the Xbox 360 platform.

As a result, in order to get people back into the shooter experience, Black Ops 2 dev Treyarch held a Double XP weekend in the last few days.

That Double XP period has now been extended until Tuesday, April 16, and will officially end at 10am PST, according to the Twitter account of the studio.

Tomorrow will also see the release of the Uprising DLC on the Xbox 360 and, after around a month, the studio will launch it on other platforms like the PC or PlayStation 3.
