After a month-long wait, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Apocalypse DLC has just been released for the PC and PlayStation 3 platforms, giving owners of the game on those platforms access to four new multiplayer maps and one new Zombies level.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 came out in November of last year and, since then, has delighted fans of the series with a multiplayer mode that saw constant updates and DLC releases, thanks to developer Treyarch.

Now, the studio has released its final add-on, in the form of the Apocalypse map pack, that is now available on the PC and PS3, after already appearing for the Xbox 360 one month ago.

The DLC includes four new competitive multiplayer maps – Frost, Pod, Dig, and Takeoff – as well as one new cooperative Zombies scenario – Origins.

The add-on costs $15/€15 and can be downloaded for PC via Steam and for PS3 via the PS Store.
