An official MLG broadcast has revealed that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be playable in multiplayer at the upcoming Gamescom, starting August 13.

During an official Major League Gaming broadcast, presenter Chris Puckett has revealed that he's experienced the game hands-on, and that Sledgehammer Games' creation will be available in Germany in August.

"If you guys are fans of the Call of Duty series, you are gonna want to make this event. I have to say, I am super excited for what we're going to be getting in November," Puckett has said.

"The gameplay is much more fluid and much faster than any of the Call of Dutys I've played up to this point. On top of that, it's safe to say that this new title puts more emphasis on skill than any of the Call of Dutys I've played before this," he has added.

Although Sledgehammer is yet to speak publicly about the feature, one of the studio founders has teased fans of the series on Twitter about a pending reveal.

"Holy [expletive]! I love playing Advanced Warfare's MP! Can't wait to reveal it......someday. Ha! U thought I was going to slip. Nope. Soon tho," Glen Schofield, co-founder of Sledgehammer Games has posted on his official Twitter account.

So expect to see more very, very soon.
