Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is one of the biggest launches of the coming fall season, but it seems that the newly established team at developer Sledgehammer Games has not been able to directly handle all versions of the game and has decided to focus on the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PC.

Meanwhile, those who are playing on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 will get access to a package that has been put together by High Moon Studios, the studio that has previously managed to create both Deadpool and Transformers themed video games.

Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, the two co-leaders of Sledgehammer Games, are quoted by CVG as explaining that their team was focused on the most powerful hardware available at the moment because it wanted to deliver the best possible game experience.

They state, “Our focus is on innovation for the franchise, unrestricted by last generation hardware constraints, and the additional third year of development has allowed the team to make bold decisions to deliver on a new era in Advance Warfare.”

They also believe that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 will run great and reveal that publishing partner Activision decided to work with High Moon Studios.

The pair adds, “They are committed to bringing an incredible X360 and PS3 Call of Duty game to fans. We've been working closely with those guys to ensure players get an awesome Call of Duty experience on all platforms.”

A few days ago, the company confirmed that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare would not be offered on the Wii U, mostly because there’s no clear audience for the first-person shooter on the Nintendo-made home console.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be launched on November 4 on all the supported platforms, and gamers who pre-order and get the Day Zero package will be able to start playing one day earlier and will also enjoy double experience in order to rapidly level up their character.

The new shooter moves the action to the future and will feature a wide variety of technological improvements, with an exo-skeleton and a rifle that can print its own ammunition.

The multiplayer is designed to focus on expanded movement options for players and there are 12 modes that gamers can enjoy, including the all new Momentum and Uplink.
