Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision have just unleashed a brand new video for fans of the game to enjoy, this time showcasing the various free downloadable content that's just been released for the popular shooter, such as the M1 Irons revolver, not to mention the new skins and versions for existing weapons.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launched in fall of last year and delivered a pretty big departure from the main recipe of the franchise, taking things into a more sci-fi future where exosuits and futuristic gadgets rule the battlefield.

The departure was a success, as millions of fans are still enjoying the shooter. In order to keep the hype going, Sledgehammer has already rolled out lots of free and premium DLC, bringing new weapons and challenges, not to mention maps and cooperative experiences.

Fresh free DLC is now available and gets a special showcase video

Now, in order to highlight the fresh downloadable content that's now available for free to all Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare owners, Sledgehammer and Activision have just showcased a fresh gameplay video.

First up, there's the new M1 Irons revolver, which should appear in the inventory of all players across PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms. Bear in mind that its many different variants must be unlocked from Supply Drops, both standard and advanced ones.

Besides the new weapon, there are quite a few other customization options also available through these random drops, not to mention the SAC3 single-wield sub-machine gun version, as well as the Royalty skins for most existing weapons.

However, the last two bits of DLC are available right now only on the Xbox One. PC and PS4 owners should get them soon enough, according to Sledgehammer, so look forward to a fresh announcement in the near future.

Until then, check out the impressive video below.
