The development team at Sledgehammer Games, publisher Activision and retail chain GameStop are delivering a new video for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which is set to give long-term fans of the first-person shooter some more information on the new Supply Drop mechanic.

Micahel Condrey, one of the co-founders of the development team, offers commentary and explains how gamers will be able to get access to new items and weapons which can be obtained via all the game modes.

The Supply Drop concept in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is designed to allow the entire community to stay competitive for as long as possible after the initial launch, and it will run in parallel with the traditional progression system of the title.

The entire multiplayer side of the coming game has been re-designed to focus on the exo-skeleton, which enables new types of movement and can be customized with a range of powerful abilities.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be launched on November 4 of this year on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and last-gen consoles, and a Day One edition of the shooter can be pre-ordered by those who want to get access on November 3 and to play with double XP for 24 hours.
