For those of you who don’t know, Sledgehammer released a major patch for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 earlier this week. A smaller update was launched for Xbox One version as well, on the same date.

Along with the full patch notes, Sledgehammer announced that the PC version of their game wouldn’t be updated until next week. Well, it looks like PC players are in for a nice surprise as developers have decided to make the patch available much earlier.

The same patch released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 is now available for the PC version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. According to the official changelog, it brings lots of improvements and bug fixes, though some players may not find it satisfying enough due to some missing features.

Weapon balancing, matchmaking improvements and bug fixes

First of all, the update adds some weapon balancing and improves Clan and Ranked play. Updates to Emblem, Scorestreak, Security and Anti-Cheat, and Maps have been implemented as well.

There are some changes for the Exo Survival system mechanics, including some bug fixes. Sledgehammer confirmed they have fixed a UI issue where the “Reviving” progress bar was not being displayed while under the effects of a “System Hack.”

In addition, AI will no longer target a player while in the class selection menu. Last but not least, the update should also fix all the problems caused by the player disconnecting the controller before the class selection menu pops up.

Lots of in-game changes are included in the patch as well, such the adjustment of the center point of some sniper scopes and various matchmaking and connectivity improvements.
