14 DAY TRIAL // Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has just received the first video and details about its upcoming third downloadable expansion, in the form of the Supremacy add-on, which brings four new maps for the competitive multiplayer, as well as a fresh scenario for the Exo Zombies cooperative mode.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launched back in November of last year across a multitude of platforms and developer Sledgehammer Games has released a wide variety of free updates, not to mention premium downloadable content packs like Havoc or Ascendance.
The third DLC expansion is coming next week on Xbox One & 360
Now, the third add-on for Advanced Warfare has just been revealed to the world, in the form of the Supremacy one, which brings new maps for the competitive multiplayer and a fresh adventure for the cooperative Exo Zombies mode.
The expansion is scheduled to make its debut on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms on June 2, worldwide. After the timed exclusivity period expires, PC, PS3, and PS4 owners will be able to get it, probably at the beginning of July.
Details and video cover the different maps
Besides the actual announcement and release date, Sledgehammer also presents a gameplay video that goes through the different maps included in Supremacy for Advanced Warfare.
First up, for the competitive multiplayer mode, there are four different maps, in the form of Kremlin, Parliament, Compound, and Skyrise. While they all look quite good and interesting, without a doubt Modern Warfare 2 will recognize Skyrise as a reimagined version of Highrise, the fan favorite map that made its debut in that older shooter title.
Besides the competitive maps, the new DLC also brings a fresh episode in the game's Exo Zombies cooperative mode. The new adventure is called Carrier and, as you can see in the video, it introduces a new character played by horror movie icon Bruce Campbell.
