The development team at Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision are ready to offer more information on the multiplayer game modes which will be part of the upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, with a new video giving fans a first quick look at the Momentum mode, which has been specifically designed for the new title.

Greg Reisdorf, one of the leading developers working on the experience, is offering commentary on the footage, which shows the core mechanics and explains how gamers need to act in order to be efficient.

The new Momentum mode is drawing its inspiration from the War option that was offered in World at War.

The team at Sledgehammer Games has taken the core features of Domination and has placed all the points which need to be captured in a straight line, making it easy for one solid team to gain momentum and push back their enemies in order to control them all at a time.

The new video from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare shows the Momentum mode being played on the Retreat map, but it will also be available in other environments.

Another new game mode is called Uplink and the development team will probably soon also offer more details on its unique elements.

A focus on mobility and player options

Sledgehammer Games says that it created the multiplayer experience of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in order to give gamers a wide variety of cool moments based around the all new exo-skeleton.

The suit is designed to enhance the movement of humans, and in terms of gameplay, that means gamers can boost to reach new areas or can actively dodge enemy projectiles while delivering powerful new melee attacks.

At the same time, the exo-skeleton allows players to slot in a variety of abilities, which means that they are free to test out a number of combinations in order to see which of them is suited to their unique play style.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be out on November 4 and can be played on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft and last-gen consoles.

All those who are eager to play any of the multiplayer modes have the option to pre-order to get the Day Zero Edition, which is unlocked on November 3 and offers double the experience points for characters for a 24-hour period.
