The development team at Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision announce that they are entering a collaboration with the Mountain Dew and Doritos brands which will allow gamers to take advantage of a new Fuel Up for Battle promotion for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Starting October 6 of this year, fans in the United States will be able to pick up special market packages of both the chips and the drink in stores in order to unlock exclusive game gear if they redeem the included codes until February 15 of next year.

The involved companies are saying that players can get access to an exo-skeleton, a heavy vest kit, helmets, goggles, and boots, and that they can also unlock double experience and rapid supply rewards, in addition to getting a chance to win an Xbox One home console from Microsoft.

Some more details can be obtained on the official site of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare promotion linked to Mountain Dew and Doritos, where all the official rules are listed.

Ashley Maidy, a vice president of licensing and partnerships at Activision, states, "We’re thrilled to bring together with Call of Duty such iconic brands as Mountain Dew and Doritos in a compelling and fun way that benefits both of our respective communities. So, with the exclusive in-game gear waiting for Dew and Doritos consumers, gamers just need to fuel-up and login."

Greg Lyons, the vice president of marketing at Mountain Dew, adds, "As in-game experiences evolve, the Dew and Doritos brands are constantly looking for ways to bring those cutting-edge ideas to life offline through unique promotions and exclusive opportunities for our fans. As a brand with an endemic gaming heritage, we are excited to be able to offer this massive gaming community unique access to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s next generation 'Supply Drop' platform."

In addition to that, fans of the shooter can also get access to new Mountain Dew flavors, called Fuel Citrus Cherry and Game Fuel Lemonade.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be launched on November 4 of this year on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and last-gen consoles, and players who get the Day Zero edition by pre-ordering it can play the game one day earlier, while also getting access to double experience.

The new first-person shooter created by Sledgehammer Games takes players to the far future and is designed to focus on the new gameplay possibilities opened up by the exo-skeleton, in both single and multiplayer.
