The development team at Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision are announcing that they will launch the Havoc downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 3 and the PC on February 26 of this year.

Gamers who own an Xbox One or an Xbox 360 can already download and play the DLC.

Those who have the Season Pass for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will get the new content for free and those who will pay for it separately will have to give the two companies 14.99 dollars or Euro.

The Havoc DLC contains four new multiplayer maps, called Core, Urban, Sideshow and Drift, each of them with its own unique scorestreaks and designed to cater to different types of shooter experiences.

Gamers will also be able to get access to two new weapon variants based on the AE4, a direct energy weapon.

The new mode that's introduced to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is called Exo Zombies and will have players take on the role of characters based on Hollywood stars John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, and Jon Bernthal.

The experience asks those taking part to work together as they seek to get away from a facility overrun with undead who are using all kinds of new technology, including jetpacks.

Presumably, the developers will also deliver a big patch for the shooter when Havoc is ready to deploy.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is getting another three DLC packs

The first-person shooter from Sledgehammer Games and Activision has managed to be the best-selling entertainment experience of last year, but the two companies need to deliver DLC for it in order to keep gamers engaged in the long term.

Three others packs are planned for the title, all of them designed to introduce more maps for multiplayer and a new installment in the story of Exo Zombies.

A new title will be revealed in time for E3 2015 and it will probably be created by Treyarch, with launch set to take place at some point in November.

Recent teasing from the studio suggests that it might include more undead-based gameplay than any other previous title in the franchise.
