The development team at Infinity Ward and publisher Activision continue to tease the multiplayer element of their upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with another very short video that is clearly designed to hype up the community rather than deliver any clear information about the new experience.

The full announcement will be made at the Gamescom 2014 event in Cologne, Germany, on August 11 and gamers can see it all on the Xbox Live via streaming.

Sledgehammer Games has already announced that it plans to introduce a number of changes to the familiar formula of the Call of Duty franchise, designed to keep long-term fans interested and to bring in new types of players.

So far, the reactions to the new short video have been less than enthusiastic and many gamers are saying that they are not really interested in trying out the multiplayer experience offered by the coming first-person shooter.

Sledgehammer Games has also said that it will introduce a deeper single-player campaign for the title, focused on the perspective of just one character.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be launched on November 4 on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft, last-gen consoles and mobile devices.
