Players can get better one map at a time

The developers at Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision are happy about the launch of the new Havoc downloadable content for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and are aiming to help newcomers get a better understanding of the included content with a new set of tips linked, at first, to the Sideshow map.

The official community post says that the battle space was created to introduce lines of fire that encourage long-range attacks in a relatively small environment.

This means that gamers need to continue moving in order to find cover or reach an objective.

Sledgehammer Games states, "These clowns aren’t just creepy, but dangerous too. In particular, the looming clown sign in the middle of the map comes alive during Sideshow’s dynamic event, lobbing bombs from under his hat in every direction. Follow the smoke trail and pick up the bomb for a free explosive attack against an unsuspecting target. Or, find cover at a distance and take out enemy players chasing down the goods."

The studio suggests heading to the inn on Sideshow, equipped with a flak jacket and an explosive drone and armed with a shotgun or a submachine gun in order to take out rushing players and to get a lot of points fast.

Gamers can choose their own play styles in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

The team says that for modes including Domination and Hardpoint gamers should be trying to attack at all times.

They add, "A strong team can use Sideshow’s open environment to hold down a position, and you don’t want to give your enemy that opportunity. Avoid the situation by being the first team there, and when you’re beaten to the punch, dislodge and disorient them with aggressive attacks."

Havoc for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has other three multiplayer-focused maps and more weapons for gamers to wield.

The Exo Zombies mode is also added, with players able to take on the role of four survivors who need to work together in order to escape a facility infested by the undead.

Sledgehammer Games and Activision are planning to launch other three DLC packs for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Havoc will be live at the end of February for those who play on the PC, PlayStation 4 and PS3, and Xbox One and 360 fans can enjoy it right now.
