Call of Duty 3's publisher, Activision, announced the release dates for the number 3 installment in the Call of Duty series. The
Xbox version of the first-person shooter is set to be released on November 10 while the version for the
PlayStation 2 will be a little bit later, on November 24. These dates refer to the U.K. release of the game.
What seems unusual is that Activision has announced that Call of Duty 3 will also have Wii support, and that the Wii version of the game will be released in December 1, but it seems to slip their mind that the Nintendo Wii will not come out until December 8 in Europe. Maybe they know something we don't!
It would have been even funnier if Activision announced a release date for the
PS3 version, sometime in December also, as the PS3 is set to make its appearance in Europe in March of next year.
Xbox owners who also happen to love shooters will have a fantastic month as other games of the genre like Gears of War and Rainbow Six Vegas are set to be released in November.
