It seems that playing World War II-related games is something that gamers will do till the end of time. After all, it's the biggest conflict in human history and our grandfathers may have fought in it, but games are the only chance we get to relive that experience. If you die in Call of Duty 3, you'll be "rewarded" with a series of famous war-related quotes said by the men that changed history, like Albert Einstein or Winston Churchill. The Xbox 360 version is far better than the PS2 one and there's still no news about any PC version for now. Feast on fast-paced action scenes, dodge the enemy bullets and provide covering fire for your teammates. The fact that this version has a multiplayer mode sets it one class above COD 3 for the PS2.

We offer you cheats and some tips hoping that you'll manage to silence those Nazis once and for all. Have fun while playing COD 3 in multiplayer.

Multiplayer tips
1. Communicate with your teammates!!!

If you're familiar with guides, this has always been the first general tip. That's because this is really, really important. Especially in this game where you have different classes that each have different jobs. It's even more important to have good communication between your team members. The team with better communication status will in most cases win the game. This communication will allow you to tell people to snipe a certain guy, perform an airstrike in an area, or setup a machine gun overlooking a certain spot. All of these are strategies that will make you win, or their lack will kill you. Especially in War, Single Flag, and Capture the Flag game types.

2. Aim Down the Sight!!!

This is one of the things that make Call of Duty, well, Call of Duty. The "aim down the sight" feature makes you way more accurate than you could ever be without it. I have sniped people easily with my Kar98, but there's no chance in hell I could ever do that without aiming down the sight. Aiming down the sight also causes a slight auto aim, and over a long distance this can be huge. This is probably the most important game mechanic in COD 3.

3. Spread out the Classes!!!

This game is all about adjustment. You have to be able to change to anti tank and take out a tank after just getting blasted by it. You have to be able to adjust your game plan to suit the flow of the game, because if everyone is a support gunner, then how are you going to take out a tank? This will enable you to counter whatever your opponent is doing. If you're playing in a team, this is a big part of playing together. You have to give everyone a job that involves doing something, because if everyone is one class, you'll be easily killed.

4. Use Vehicles!

These are a new entry in the series, but play an important part. Vehicles will enable you to kill large amounts of people, as well as travel around the map a lot faster and have more protection. In the case of tanks, vehicles will enable you to support your allies in a much stronger way than without them. You will also be able to make them act as a diversion, taking attention away from the point that you're capturing or that flag, and bring the attention to yourself, giving your team a chance to make something happen. Tanks are also great because you're going to find that there are going to be lots of times when a couple of machine gunners can cover a place really well. Have a tank come in, or use an artillery strike from a scout.

5. Flank your Objectives!!

I can't tell you how many times I have attacked an objective from a different angle and been able to achieve my goal. Another spin on this is that you don't necessarily have to attack the objective, but you can sneak behind your enemy. In this game, there is no Kill cam, so they won't have any idea where you're coming from. I remember one game of War I played where I sneaked around all of the guys and was behind their spawn. I was capping them off one by one, and they had no idea where I was shooting from. Doing this will enable your team to have a better chance of capturing that point or get a hold of that flag.

Well I have been playing cod3 for about 2 years now and really other than playing THE NEW GAME OUT scenarios that come and go, I always come back to playing cod3 online..Ok, the tips I can give is basically for the snipers only..Being that is the only way I play this game. and usually in battle mode.. Honestly, I don't like changing from one thing and having to have another learning edge.. Sniping is very capable of making the fellas running around with the machine guns look like fools.. Especially when you have like a 50 kills and 2 deaths type of scores.. Ist tip I have would be, really learn the guns that you are using, I mean to see that it fits you best.. If someone comes into the room and rocks everyone then ask them why they like that gun over the american's sniper the springfield.. Usually they will tell you the reason they like one over the other and see if the advantages seem to work for you.. No sense in not getting help form someone that obviously has already put alot of time into the game..Learn from them.. Secondly learn the maps.. Or maybe atleast pick the one map that you like the best and learn it inside and out.. Poisson has always been my favorite and always has plenty of people playing in in the battle modes..And good players seem to come around quite a bit.. Now I know every little thing about this map.. Where the losers that glitch hang out at.. The people that hide in the hay field's around the edge of the map and snipe or park the jeeps at and shoot with the big guns onboard the jeep..Play enough and you will personally learn the people that play a certain way like that.. And sometimes it will require YOUR game to be played away from those crazy hot areas..Like it or not, what they do are allowed in the game and you just have to deal with it.. Ok, when you first pop into the game..Look down the list and see anyone that has the EXACT same gun as you..OK, remember their names because when you get good, ammo running out is a terrible thing..It will require you dying to get a reload basically of the gun that you want to play with..SO killing someone that is using the exact same gun will get you the ammo that you need to continue your big killing sprees, especially while sniping... Sometimes that means a mad dash a little ways in harms way to get the ammo need before you run out..But again, this is if you really want to get the awesome scores of like 50 and 2 or 4 deaths or something like that..So really this instance of looking and learning the names is well well worth the second or two.. Ok, now with the scoped kar98, My personal pick, I can tell you that I have leaned something that I have never heard anyone say and is a big plus for playing multiplayer.. Especially with low numbers of players or when there isn't much action on yourside of the map.. Or maybe they are just hidden... Take a second to move the view around the map about at the height that people would naturally be on or fighting on..OK, do it fairly quick but not as fast as it can go..The reason why is the 360 is actually taking in the information that is being fed to it and it has a slight pause to it where it is being fed the information from on the map.. More than likely where it is going to be rendered or just acknowledged that it's there for your 360.. Either way.. It will hesitate for just a second in what would be a normal smooth flowing look across the map.. Now work it back and forth at this very area to make sure that the hesitation actually existed.. It will stay there if it really is one.. Ok, this is actually a player location that is about to pop up or atleast is nearby on the other side of the wall or building..This technique is great for maps with good snipers in hiding or just really low number games..Do this without being in ADS or aiming down the scope.. Just a casual look around.. Now know that smoke or fire from a building can do it too, or even a jeep that is about to explode and going to respawn soon will give this same little glitch while looking.. But should be pretty obvious that is what it is though when it does.. If sniping, learn to get areas that are beneficial to you.. 1st, where your back is covered or atleast a tree is help hiding you etc.. So many times people run right past me and don't even see me there standing beside a tree.. Ok, in that situation, do not shoot yet.. Let them put some distance on you and them then take them out.. The reason why is because they can see where you are at at close ranges but not if you are farther away.. Also, I don't move until after I see that the gun has dropped and they have reentered the game somewhere..DOn't even reload until their respawn.. They can see the gun change as well and even just moving around alot as well..There isn't a death cam but it does show you moving around after there death.. OK, I always reload after almost every shot or two ,especially after a miss kill.. This is just all part of preperations..Next learn where the trees are in the way and will not let you shoot through..This can save you and hurt you either way..Some areas the trees hold a force field if in real life would be probably 6 feet wide..Sometimes this is good for looking around .Example between two tomb stones next to each other.. You can peek through without being shot to see what's about.. Really good after a new respawn.. Use your cover and RUN in short spirts and take a second to let it refill to let you run again to the next cover.. And do jump around a little unexpectedly when trying to get to an area with a little length to it.. It can save you from having a fatal blow.. Honestly there is no do this and win to this game.. It requires time and skill and the passion of wanting to play the game and with due time learning everything about the map..

My favorite weapon combination would either be the M1 support gun and the thompson, or the M1 garand and the Scoped kar98k. My gamertag is grappler555 and i play cod3 about 2 hours a day. (as of May 2009)

Hey its me again (grappler555) thnx for the sniper tip works great when you can't see anyone. If u r a begginer in cod3 I would recommend using the BAR (found in the Allies Heavy assualt) also if you are playing capture the flag and teamdamage is off; get as close as u can 2 the flag and plant a mine. the enemy cant see it , and if your teammate returns the enemy flag they wont die.
