California Dispensary Offers Marijuana Ice Cream

Crème de canna at High Scream in California is the place to be if you have a doctor’s prescription for medical marijuana, because the dispensary / store has now come up with a new way of serving pot.

If brownies, bread and even cooked meals are not enough to satiate your appetite, then perhaps a pot-infused cold treat will probably do the trick.

One dispensary in California has come up with the perfect recipe for those who have a doctor’s prescription for use of medical marijuana, making it into ice cream – several flavors of it actually, Health SpreadIt informs.

“A medical marijuana dispensary in California is offering ice cream with pot in it. It would be perfect for a banana split,” the e-zine says.

“There are a total of 2,000 medicinal dispensaries in California, and the one in question is selling half pint tubs that do a lot more to you then your favorite grocery store brand of ice cream,” the same report reads.

“It is the perfect answer for the munchies as well, and has been a hit with most of their customers,” the e-zine points out, adding that some patients have returned for a third and fourth helping as well.

As of now, flavors include Banannabis Foster, Straw-Mari Cheesecake and TRIPle Chocolate Brownie. More will be added soon.

“Offering ice cream as a healthy alternative to patients who do not want to smoke the substance is a great way to bring in new business and develop new ways of using the popular drug as a medicine,” Heath SpreadIt writes.

Half a pint of the marijuana-laced ice cream is $15 and contains 2 to 4 doses of pot. A doctor’s prescription for it is a must, as also noted above.

As we also informed you back in December last year, lacing food with marijuana is not something new, being actually a sort of a health trend that has been going on for quite some time.

Because many people would rather ingest the drug than smoke it and given that most of them would rather they ate something other than a sweet treat, restaurants serving regular dishes (pasta, pizza and even teriyaki chicken) laced with marijuana have been increasing in number.
