14 DAY TRIAL // A message in a bottle has made its way from California state in the US to the country of Guam.
According to Guam Daily News, Brittanie Penrose and Aaron Lanari released a wine bottle in the water, and they put letters they had penned down inside.
Penrose wrote a note after finding out she had cancer, in 2010. The bottle just washed ashore on Boonie Beach Road in Talofofo, during a beach cleanup event.
Penrose had been diagnosed with epilepsy when she found out about a tumor in her brain. She wrote the unknown recipient of her letters to find her on Facebook. Lanari included lyrics in his message.
"When intelligence is ignorant and empathy is absent, death and hate are present when joy and love are abstract," he wrote.
