This week we’ll take a look at an interesting extension called „MobiUnpack – The Plugin." According to the developer, this plugin is used to unpack and inspect the contents of DRM-free MOBI files.
MobiUnpack – The Plugin can extract the data from standard MOBIs, KF8s, Print Replicas (AZW4), and even from MOBI dictionaries (with limited support), with the condition that they are DRM-ree.
It can be easily installed from the Preferences menu or from the official forum, and it needs version 0.8.18 or higher of Calibre. A comprehensive tutorial about its usage can also be found on the forum.
