This week, we’ll take a look at an interesting plugin called “Beam eBooks.” According to the developer, it allows Calibre to read metadata from Beam eBooks when the user chooses to download or to fetch metadata.
The Beam eBooks plugin can also retrieve the beam eBook id this plugin is preparing ground for the upcoming bookshelf sync plugin.
It can be easily installed from the Preferences menu or from the official forum, and it needs version 0.8.6 or higher of Calibre. A comprehensive tutorial about its usage can be found on the official forum.
