Although it is a minor build, the new update for Calibre integrates a couple of new features and some repairs.

The fresh build adds the possibility to convert Microsoft Word documents if created with version 2007 or newer of the suite. The operation supports lists, tables, images and all types of text formatting. Furthermore, endnotes and dropcaps are included.

In order to demonstrate the new capability, the developer makes available a demo Word file filled with the aforementioned elements and text formatting.

Also new in this revision are keyboard shortcuts or moving back and forth (Alt+Left/Right) in the ebook viewer. Furthermore, you can now right-click on the author in Book Details section in order to edit the name.

The developer addressed a few issues, such as a regression bug that broke the FB2 input in the previous release and one that caused vertical margins specified on some block level elements to be ignored in the case of MOBI output.
