The past two Calibre builds are a week apart as far as their release is concerned. However, unlike the previous build, the current one, 0.8.36, introduces new features designed to improve both performance and functionality of the application.

Calibre 0.8.36 shows better times when it comes to loading up large libraries with at least one composite custom column by reading format info on demand. Also, there is a tag editor in this release. Infibeam Pi 2 is now supported by the application.

Bug fixing in this release refers to issues affecting the viewer (error on books that did not define a language), edit metadata dialog or CHM Input.
