Version 0.8.36 of the e-book reader and management software Calibre, has just been announced, bringing a much needed Tag Editor feature.

Another important change in Calibre 0.8.36 is the introduction of a new driver for Infibeam Pi 2, a new device that has just hit the market.

Calibre 0.8.36 also comes with new features, such as deleting news after a certain number of days or by using the News tag and the Author Calibre, and an improvement in the start-up time when dealing with large libraries.

We have to mention that a regression in version 0.8.35 that promoted an error, in the viewer, for books that didn't had a defined language is now fixed, and that grouping by categories using custom columns is now working properly.

A complete changelog can be fond in the official announcement.
