Microsoft doesn’t offer Windows 8 with a Modern calculator, but the Windows Store holds some pretty interesting solutions. Calculator RT is a very simple calculator app for the Windows 8 platform that’s fully optimized for the touch and runs in the Modern UI of your new computer.
The interface is pretty basic and this is probably the thing that makes it so special. Used in full-screen mode on a Windows RT tablet, the app basically turns into a full-featured calculator that can be used with just a few taps.
Another good thing is that it’s completely free, so you can download and use it at absolutely no cost, regardless of the Windows 8 version you’re running.
