Alexander Tratsevskiy announced a few days ago, on August 17th, that the first maintenance release of his Calculate Linux 12.0 operating system is now available for download.

Calculate Linux 12.0.2 includes KDE Software Compilation 4.9.0, Chromium 21.0.1180.57, LibreOffice 3.6.0.4, Calculate Utilities 3.0.1, Linux kernel 3.4.5, Amarok 2.6.0, GNOME 3.2, GIMP 2.8.0, Xorg Server 1.12.2, XBMC 11.0, digiKam 2.8.0, Bind 9.8.3-P1, ProFTPD 1.3.4a, Samba 3.5.15, OpenLDAP 2.4.30, Postfix 2.9.3, and Openbox 3.5.0.

This release also features a smaller ISO image, and a number of fixes, among which we can mention installation support on LVM, D-Bus autostarts correctly, there are no more lags when installing packages, fixed GRUB2 settings, and Clt templates are now overlaid correctly.
