For example, Cairo 1.12.14 fixes detection of Windows 98 operating systems, fixes an assertion in the win32 backend, causing similar images to not be cleared, and fixes computation of glyph string coordinates related to xlib.
Moreover, standard names are now used for glyphs in subset fonts (PDF), user callbacks are no longer allowed to access user data during destroy, and numeric overflow is no longer allowed to extrapolate polygon edges to the clip boundary.
“In the last week we had a few more bugs reported and promptly resolved. As these are a combination of regressions and stability issues, it is time for a prompt update and release.
