Although most professional and enthusiast photographers choose to purchase photographic gear made by their current camera manufacturer, third-party accessories are becoming more and more popular thanks to their smaller price.

According to LightingRumors, an anonymous source states that Hong Kong-based lighting equipment manufacturer Cactus is working on a new radio-enabled flash called RF60.

Apparently, the new flash will support groups, allowing you to trigger multiple flashes at the same time regardless of their power output, will allow you to remotely change power and zoom, and will be compatible with the firm's V5 trigger as well as with the upcoming V6 flash transceiver.

Cactus RF60 will support both master or slave modes and will use the 2.4GHz frequency band for wireless communication. For the moment there's no information regarding other possible specs like power, compatibility, recycling time, custom functions, battery, layout etc., but expect to hear more in the coming weeks.
