Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2005, which is also known as Cabela's Big Game Hunter: 10th Anniversary

Edition - Big Game 2005 when played on a Windows platform, is a hunting video game that was produced by Sand Grain Productions and published by Activision for the Playstation 2 console, for the Game Cube, the Xbox, the PC and the Mac. The title was launched in 2004 and is classed as a hunting simulation one played from a first person perspective. There are role playing and third person view elements.

The game allows the player to explore places like Labrador, Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania and ten other locations and hunt in those regions as you embark on the hunting and fishing adventure of a virtual life time. The structure of the game makes it so that the player begins all the areas and all the missions in an outpost. This allows you to customize his gear using thousands of real world pieces of equipment so that you are better prepared to confront the challenge ahead. There are some 36 pieces of trophy game that you can pursue. They include: bear, bighorn, caribou, elk, moose, and more.

The game is a hunter's dream because it also features real video of all the creatures you can hunt to give you a better idea of what you are looking for and to provide you with some information on your kills. There are 21 real life guns that you can use to take down the prey and there's even an editor which allows you to create your own hunting missions.

GAMEPLAY HINTS

Recommended equipment

A good way for beginners to start this game is to use the following equipment: semi automatic rifle, antlers for a call, the very first urine can, and a tree stand. Use these at a spot where there are some good deer.

The best survival set is as follows. Start a career and go to Jacques Pine Lodge and store. Buy the following: .30-06 bolt rifle, Alaskan Guide 3.5-10AO rifle scope, medium weight tent, any optical device (binoculars or spotting scope), tripod stand, hydration bladders (all), all food packs, the med kit, and the cover scent. Do not be doubtful about being able to carry all that equipment; it will all be useful soon, especially the tripod. Once you get to Needleleaf area you will hunt wolverines. They are particularly dangerous. The tripod will keep you out of their and other dangerous animal's reach. Also, you do not need a tree; just level ground. The tent will heal you overnight if you get stuck out there at night and are injured.

GLITCHES

Unlimited run

Use the deer feeder or tripod stand. Try to place ut on a hill so it says "Unable to place item." Do this until you fill up the screen. Keep doing this until those messages disappear and you fill up the screen again.
