In the hunting simulation genre, Cabela's African Safari is a highly esteemed title, even though it has been released on the market about two years ago. It was developed and published by Activision Value in conjunction with the Nebraska based hunting company Cabela's. The Xbox 360 version of Cabela's African Safari was launched just in time for the holiday season, on the 5th of December 2006 - and the release date is just one of the reasons the game sold well.

There are lots of animals to track and hunt in Cabela's African Safari (leopards, elephants, rhinos and zebras are just a few examples) and the game offers five single player game modes (Instant Hunt, Big Five, Open Safari, Herd Hunting and Safari Hunt) as well as three multiplayer modes, including a fun hot seat.
