Sonim, the company that created world's toughest phone, has just announced the upcoming availability of four new ultra rugged phones, Sonim XP1330 CORE PTT, XP1301 CORE NFC, XP3300 FORCE and XP3340 SENTINEL.

The phones are aimed at those who work in extreme environments and come pre-loaded with four dedicated apps: Proof of Attendance & Activity using NFC (Near Field Communications), Push-To-Talk (PTT), Mobile Resource Management (MRM) for tracking and dispatching workers and Man Down Worker Safety Monitoring with Emergency Response

According to Sonim, the new phones are the perfect tools for workers who need rugged technology to communicate with their teams and collegues.

For the past two years, Sonim has applied its record-breaking rugged technology to solve workforce management and safety challenges for some of Europe's largest government and private sector security guarding, transportation and utilities corporations, to name a few. Now that the software and applications have been field-proven to have the same extreme reliability as our hardware, it's time to bring our enterprise focus to the Americas,” said Bob Plaschke, CEO of Sonim Technologies.

With Sonim XP1301 CORE NFC, the company hopes to offer those who work in various environments, such as cleaning, security guarding, facilities management, equipment maintenance and home visit healthcare, a fast and comfortable way to communicate.

The phone can be used to scan tags that are placed in various locations, thanks to its integrated NFC reader.

It comes with dedicated apps, including Guard Tour Verification, Proof of Activity and Real Time Attendance, which makes it very useful for field workers.

Sonim XP1330 CORE PTT offers users the advantages of the PTT (Push-to-Talk) technology and is meant to replace private mobile radio (PMR). The handset will be available in the coming months in Latin America.

Sonim XP3300 FORCE comes with the Mobile Resource Management app developed by Xora, allowing for location tracking.

According to Sonim, the XP3340 SENTINEL has the longest GPS tracking time of any mobile phone, available on the market, up to 29 hours.

Sonim XP3340SENTINEL comes with a dedicated red panic button and a “man-down” sensor capable of detecting emergencies and accidents.
