The famous system information tool just got better

Still one of the most popular system information tools for Windows users, CPU-Z received another update this morning, so you’re strongly recommended to check for the new version as soon as possible.

Basically, CPU-Z doesn’t bring any significant changes, but given the fact that it comes to fix a number of bugs and issues, a slight performance increase should be noticed.

In addition, the new build packs improved support for Intel Silvermont (Bay Trail), plus a new validation process, which could come in handy on specific hardware configurations.

Otherwise, CPU-Z is the same great tool we all know, offering support for basically all Windows versions currently on the market, starting with the aging XP and ending with Windows 8. No dedicated support for Windows 8.1 is being offered, but the app seems to work quite OK on this version.
