It is a new “Special Edition” CPU cooler based on an older model

Here's a little something that will become widely available on August 30, 2013. Well, maybe little isn't the correct term. The cooler is, after all, a 750-gram contraption (1.65 pounds).

Measuring 144 x 50 x 160.3 mm / 5.66 x 1.96 x 6.29 inches, it has six copper heatpipes and black and blue painted aluminum fins.

That gives the Blue Series Armageddon a very unique look, in addition to justifying its name.

The cooler also has a pair of 140 mm fans, or at least the ability to support them. Presumably, it will handle CPUs without them as well, though higher TDPs and overclocking settings will cause trouble for sure.

Sadly, AMD chips aren't supported, only Intel Socket LGA 775/1366/1155/1156/1150/2011 units. The price will be of €59.90 / $59.90 – $80 when sales finally start.
