FLO TV Incorporated, the innovative mobile broadcast TV services company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, has just announced today that it now delivers an expanded channels palette to customers through the addition of CNN Mobile. According to the company, the inclusion of the channel that brings programming from CNN/US, CNN International and HLN, as well as CNN.com content, has been possible through the expansion of its partnership with Turner Broadcasting.

At the same time, the company has also revealed that the channel is set to become available on the FLO TV Personal Television and FLO TV Auto Entertainment platforms, and that it will also continue to be available as part of AT&T Mobile TV. Customers will enjoy access to live coverage of top U.S., world, political, health and entertainment news through the 24/7 CNN Mobile channel on FLO TV, including programming from CNN/US, CNN International and HLN (such as Anderson Cooper 360, Larry King Live, Amanpour and Morning Express with Robin Meade).

“Live, breaking news is consistently a top performer on the FLO TV service, as people strive to stay connected to the world around them,” said Jonathan Barzilay, senior vice president of programming and advertising at FLO TV. “Adding CNN Mobile to additional devices with our service is a natural fit and keeps our subscribers connected to news and analysis anytime, anywhere.”

The FLO TV service is already available on a wide range of platforms, including the FLO TV Personal Television, which has been launched only recently, and which comes as the first portable digital television with a dedicated network. At the same time, the service includes FLO TV Auto Entertainment, delivered in collaboration with Audiovox, and is set to soon become available for iPhone and iPod touch users through the mophie juicepack TV.

One thing that should be noted here is that the service is not available everywhere, and that the company also notes that programming is subject to change / blackout restrictions. However, those interested in the service will have to purchase a subscription. FLO TV service delivers channels in real time, which means that no downloading, sideloading or buffering is involved.
