Today, leading provider of wireless broadband services Clearwire Corporation announced officially that it made its CLEAR 4G services available in a series of new markets in the United States, offering even more users the possibility to enjoy enhanced 4G connectivity on the company's WiMAX network.

According to the company, its CLEAR 4G services are set to offer users download speeds that are up to four times faster than 3G, regardless their location, within the CLEAR coverage area.

The new markets where CLEAR 4G is available include Hartford and New Haven, New Jersey, and Tampa Bay, which add to the already announced roll-out of the service in New York.

In New Haven and Hartford, CLEAR offers coverage for a number of no less than 1.5 million people.

The coverage area in New Haven stretches from the town of Wolcott in the north to the town of Stratford in the south, and east to the town of Branford and west to Oakville.

As for Hartford, the service is available from the Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks in the north to the city of Meriden in the south, to the town of Manchester to the east, and west to the city of Bristol.

Businesses and consumers in Trenton, New Jersey can also enjoy 4G services in their area. More than 250,000 people should benefit from the new deployment.

The service extends as far north as Princeton Junction and Lawrenceville south through White Horse, east to Hamilton Square, and west to the Delaware River.

In Tampa Bay, CLEAR offers coverage to a number of nearly two million people, extending from Bearss Avenue in the north to Riverview Drive in Hillsborough County in the south, to the town of Valrico in the east, and west to Clearwater Beach.

With CLEAR, customers can enjoy better connectivity and enhanced productivity. For example:

- A travelling business executive no longer needs to seek out Wi-Fi hotspots or be constrained by the speeds and limitations of 3G modem cards; - A college student can now have affordable internet service whether at home, on campus or on-the-go; - A commuter can now work on large files or stream their favorite shows while riding the bus or train; - A busy parent can now keep kids occupied studying or playing games in the back of the family minivan.
