It works with the company's Cubify Sculpt software and provides force feedback

3D printers can turn any 3D model into a plastic-made or metal-wrought real object, but who makes the 3D models? Apparently, not just designers, at least that's what 3D Systems feels.

The company has introduced the Touch, a mouse made specifically for use with its Cubify Sculpt software.

It offers force feedback, 6-degree freedom positional sensing, USB 2.0 support and two integrated stylus switches.

It looks really weird, to be honest, but it also fits the general flair of 3D printing as well.

Sales will begin in the second quarter of 2014 for the 3D Systems Touch, and the price will be $499, or €366 to €499 if exchange rates are to be believed (which they usually are not, but we can always hold out a hope, if nothing else).
