They will be available for purchase globally starting from Q1 2014

Details on the upcoming Samsung tablets' specs and their press renders leaked earlier today, so there's little surprise that the South Korean company has just announced the Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO series of tablets.

The new lineup of Samsung tablets comprises four slates: Galaxy NotePRO (12.2 inches), TabPRO (12.2, 10.1, 8.4 inches). According to Samsung, the new tablets will be available globally beginning Q1 2014.

Keep in mind though that each tablet will come in at least two models: Wi-Fi only and LTE. Samsung has also confirmed the following price tags for the new lineup of tablets:

- Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 LTE - €850 ($1,160) - Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 Wi-Fi - €750 ($1,020) - Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 LTE - €750 ($1,020) - Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 Wi-Fi - €650 ($885) - Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 10.1 LTE - €610 ($830) - Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 10.1 Wi-Fi - €480 ($655) - Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 LTE - €520 ($710) - Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 Wi-Fi - €390 ($530)

Specs-wise, Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO feature the world’s first 12.2-inch WQXGA Widescreen (16:10) display, which supports 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution.

“The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO truly demonstrate our commitment to providing our customers with extraordinarily versatile product offerings, tailored to tablet users of every description,” said JK Shin, CEO and president of IT and mobile division, Samsung Electronics.

All three Galaxy TabPRO LTE tablets come equipped with octa-core processors and 3GB of RAM, while the Wi-Fi only versions pack Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core CPUs and 2GB of RAM.

The 8.4-inch and 10.1-inch Galaxy TabPRO slates feature either 16GB or 32GB of internal memory, whereas the 12.2-inch tablet comes in two versions, 32GB or 64GB.

Samsung Galaxy NotePRO is the top of the line one and comes with an octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of storage. It's also the only one that comes with the S Pen included in the sales package.

Software-wise, all tablets have been confirmed to ship with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box. According to Samsung, the NotePRO and TabPRO (12.2) will feature up to approximately $700 (€515) worth of the premium pre-paid, long-term subscription offers.

Samsung has partnered with lots of popular news, social media and cloud storage providers, including: Bitcasa, Bloomberg Businessweek+, Blurb, Cisco WebEx Meetings, Dropbox, Easilydo Pro for Tablet, Evernote, Hancom Office for Android, LinkedIn, LIVESPORT.TV, NY Times, Oxford Advanced Learner’s A-Z, and Sketchbook Pro.
